Handbook for Faculty and Librarians

Welcome faculty and librarians. The Faculty Handbook is your online resource about instruction, appointment, procedures, rules, regulations, governance, services, and benefits. Along with the SUNY Policies of the Board of Trustees (Policies) and the Agreement between the State of New York and United University Professions (Agreement), the Faculty Handbook provides both seasoned and newer faculty and instructors with a sense about how Buffalo State works.

Department chairs, school deans, or your director can clarify points about which you may be uncertain. Things change, of course, and this online handbook is intended to be a dynamic document augmented by updates and announcements in the Daily Bulletin throughout the year.
